ABOUT US

About our family.

After serving as International Mission Board missionaries in Europe for eight years, ministering to refugees and asylum seekers from the 10/40 window, in March of 2008, Tim and Jody with their three children, Zach, Emma, and Zoe, began a year-long stateside assignment in the United States. Though they anticipated returning to London when their furlough was finished, after much prayer, counsel, and discussion, Tim and Jody heard God’s call to remain in North Carolina to start a new ministry to newly arriving refugees relocating to America. The United States receives tens of thousands of refugees every year who are placed in various cities across the country.

In May 2009, Tim and Jody joined the North American Mission Board (NAMB) as missionaries. Over the next seven years, they have helped to resettle more than 600 refugees from Burma, Iraq, Iran, and Bhutan to the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. In August 2016, the Crosses relocated their ministry to Greenville, S.C., in order to mobilize believers and churches in the Upstate to minister to and share Christ with refugees who are being resettled in South Carolina. God has given the Cross family a heart and passion for these beautiful yet displaced people.

Please pray for the Cross family and their ministry, “Open Arms Refugee Ministries," as they seek to share Christ with the nations living right in our own backyard!
